Hi, I’m Morgan

Co-owner and stylist behind Haven Hair Studio in Plymouth, Michigan — fittingly located on Morgan Street! I was born and raised right here in Michigan and have been in the beauty industry for over 12 years. After graduating from Douglas J Aveda Institute in Ann Arbor in 2015, I built my career behind the chair and opened Haven Hair Studio in 2020. I absolutely love working with hair — every client brings a new opportunity to create something beautiful, personalized, and transformative. Seeing someone’s confidence grow when they love their hair is truly the best part of my job. I specialize in balayage, lived-in color transformations, and extensions, crafting looks that are effortless, natural, and tailored to each client.

Outside the salon, I’m married to my high school sweetheart, and together we have a 6-month-old son and two cats who were our first babies. We’re a big Michigan and Detroit Lions family, so weekends often include cheering on our teams and spending time with friends. We love spending summers up north at our lake house and traveling to Traverse City, enjoying the wineries, beaches, restaurants, and exploring the city — it’s truly our happy place. I grew up playing ice hockey and still try to make time for it when I can. I also love to snowboard, especially on trips to Boyne and Caberfae, which is extra special since it’s where my husband and I got married. When I’m not on the ice or slopes, you’ll find me enjoying yoga, discovering new restaurants and coffee spots, and exploring local art fairs to support small businesses. My go-to coffee order is a pumpkin cream cold brew, and my favorite restaurant is Grey Ghost in Detroit.

I truly love connecting with clients, building lasting relationships, and helping them feel their most confident selves. My goal is to not only give you hair you love but also an experience that leaves you feeling pampered, inspired, and excited every time you walk out of the salon. Hi, I’m Justine!

I discovered my love for doing hair back in high school, watching YouTube tutorials of intricate braids and creative styles, then practicing them on my sisters. That passion led me to Douglas J Aveda Institute in Ann Arbor, where I graduated from cosmetology school in 2016.

While I started out loving styling, I quickly fell even more in love with coloring hair. I’m especially drawn to the creativity and freedom it allows. I specialize in dimensional color, creating rich, multi-tonal looks, but I also love working with vivids for those who want something bold and fun. In 2021, I became certified in extensions, which has become another favorite service of mine—there’s nothing like the instant transformation extensions can offer!

I’m deeply passionate about what I do, and I love seeing the confidence boost my clients get after a fresh new look. There’s truly nothing better than making someone feel amazing in their own skin (and hair!).

When I’m not behind the chair...
You’ll find me hanging out with my two dogs—Benji, a German Shepherd/Lab mix, and Apollo, a Silver Lab. I like to stay active by going to the gym daily and occasionally taking a yoga class. I’ve been a vegetarian since I was 9, and in my downtime, I love to crochet and bake sourdough bread (yes, I fully embrace my cozy, grandma hobbies!).

One of the best parts of my job is getting to know so many different people. The connections I make in my chair are what truly make this career so special.
